If you want to update an address but you don't own the Business Profile, you can request access from the profile’s current owner. First off, congrats on getting your Google My Business suspension reinstated Unfortunately, if you are pending for more than 3 days there is something wrong or you are in what is called a duress category. When you update your address, you can enter your opening date and post from the new location. After you update the address, you may be asked to verify it. If your business moves, you can update the address in your Business Profile. Important: Do not create a new Business Profile if your business’s location changes.
Important: Once a location is removed, it can't be recovered. Request ownership of that Business Profile if you’re authorized to manage it. If "Access needed" is listed on a location, someone else previously verified it. The duplicate location is not shown in Google Maps. If you add a location that’s already been verified in your Business Profile, Google marks it as a "Duplicate location" in your account. Lastly, a call history feature will show “which inbound customer calls came from their Business Profile on Google.” Available in the US and Canada for verified profiles, it will note total answer and missed call count, performance, and history.Remove duplicate locations in your account This upcoming Search option brings the capability to desktop web after tapping on the “Customers” menu (as seen above). “View and respond to messages from your customers”Ĭustomer messaging is also coming directly to Search (previously only available in Maps) with read receipts for both parties.Īs of late last year, businesses have been able to reply to messages directly from the Google Maps mobile apps in the “Updates” tab.
